By the time Trinidad, West Indies, native Donald Ryan was 14, he had earned several honors from London's Trinity School of Music and was the pianist for a radio program that reached the entire Eastern Caribbean.   His mentor at Oral Roberts University was Andrzeq Wasowski.   He earned his Masters Degree at the University of Tulsa, where he studied with Aldo Mancinelli.   Mr. Ryan has won numerous awards for his classical repertory performances, but he is equally renowned for his improvisation and for his arrangements.   He has enjoyed enthusiastic responses from Carnegie Hall audiences and others across the United States and Europe.   He won the Madeyska Award at the 1975 Chopin competition in Warsaw where he made such an impression that he was asked to participate in a documentary on Chopin's life and to perform at the composer's birthplace.
